Keyboard shortcuts
The keys that save time.
A few keys save time in KRISID. This page lists every one there is. There are no shortcuts beyond these.
Anywhere

Jumps to the Ask box. On another screen, it opens Ask first. It does nothing while you are typing in another box, so you can still type a / there. |
Esc |
Closes the menu under your name, and the Your details or Change password panel. |
In the Ask box

Empties the box and starts a new search, the same as New search. The front of the Ask page comes back. |
You do not need to press Enter in the Ask box. Results change as you type.

Enter on a group heading |
Collapses or expands the group. When the sidebar is collapsed to icons, it opens the group's panel instead. |
Esc |
Closes a group's panel when the sidebar is collapsed to icons, and puts you back on its heading. |
Editing and confirming

What it does |
Enter while changing a value in place |
Saves it. In a long text box, Enter starts a new line instead; press Save. |
Esc while changing a value in place |
Cancels the change. |
Esc when asked to confirm a removal |
Answers no, the same as Keep. |
Enter / Esc in a form that adds a person, team, role or team member |
Adds it, or cancels. |
Choosing people from a list
When you pick from a list of people, teams and roles, for example to share a saved lineage view or to choose who may read Logs:

Diagrams
