Terms of Use
These cover the website, the published material on it, and the sandbox. The licence for a KRISID installation is a separate agreement, and nothing here replaces it.

1. Who these apply to
krisid.com is operated by Krisid Private Limited (“KRISID”, “we”). Using the website, reading the documentation or white papers, or signing in to the sandbox means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use them.
2. The white papers and documentation
Everything published on this site is free to read with no registration, and we would like it to be used. You may read it, print it, quote it and share it. Quoting it in your own work is welcome provided KRISID is credited and the quotation is not altered in a way that changes its meaning.
You may not republish substantial parts of it as your own, resell it, or present it as the output of another organisation. The documentation describes a licensed product; publishing it does not grant any right to the software it documents.
The material is general guidance drawn from our delivery experience and from sources available when it was written. It is not legal, regulatory or financial advice. Regulatory obligations differ by jurisdiction and by how a system is used, and the papers say so individually. Decisions you take on the basis of it are yours.
3. The sandbox
The sandbox at metadata-sandbox.krisid.com is provided free, for evaluation, and as is. In particular:
- It carries no availability commitment. We may restart, change, reset or withdraw it at any time, without notice.
- It carries no durability commitment. Do not keep anything in it that you would mind losing.
- It is a shared demonstration environment. Do not upload personal data, client data, production metadata or anything confidential. See the privacy notice.
You agree not to use the sandbox to:
- attempt to access another account, or data that is not yours;
- probe, scan or test the security of the environment, or circumvent any limit in it, except where we have agreed to that in writing in advance;
- place unreasonable load on it, including automated traffic beyond ordinary use;
- upload anything unlawful, malicious or infringing;
- reverse engineer the product, or use the environment to build a competing one.
We may suspend or remove any sandbox account, at our discretion, without being obliged to give a reason.
Found a security problem?
Tell us before you tell anyone else, at contact@krisid.com. We will not pursue anybody who reports a genuine vulnerability in good faith, who stays within the account they created, and who gives us a reasonable opportunity to fix it before disclosing it.
4. The product licence is separate
Nothing on this website licenses the KRISID software. A KRISID installation runs under a signed licence and a written agreement that set out scope, support, warranties and liability. Where anything here conflicts with that agreement, that agreement governs.
5. No warranty on the website
The website and the sandbox are provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that either will be uninterrupted, error free, or fit for a particular purpose.
6. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data, or business interruption arising from use of this website, the published material or the sandbox. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
7. Links out
Where we link to another organisation's site we do so because it is useful, not because we endorse or control it. We are not responsible for its content.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is the one on this page, with the date at the top. Continuing to use the site or the sandbox after a change means accepting it.
